Bayern Munich’s Sadio Mane has reportedly been involved in a physical altercation with teammate Leroy Sane in the locker room following the team’s 0-3 loss to Manchester City in [expander_maker id=”1″ ] the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. According to the German newspaper, Bild, the Senegalese international punched Sané in the left eye, resulting in the German winger having a black eye.

Mané, who was signed at the beginning of the season for around €35 million from Liverpool, has received criticism in Germany for his performances for Bayern Munich. In 32 games so far, he has scored 11 goals and provided five assists.

The altercation comes at a challenging time for the Bayern Munich team, who are not performing to their usual standards this season. The team has already changed coaches, with Thomas Tuchel replacing Julian Nagelsmann. At the time of Nagelsmann’s departure, Mané was reportedly one of the main opposition figures to the coach, as the former Liverpool player was unhappy with his playing time since the resumption of competitions after the World Cup.

While altercations between teammates are not uncommon in the world of football, physical violence is a significant concern, and clubs are expected to take disciplinary action against players who engage in such behavior. Bayern Munich has not yet commented on the incident involving Mané and Sané.[/expander_maker]
